About Our School

Hatton (Cruden) School is non-denominational and serves the village of Hatton and the surrounding rural area. It is situated between Peterhead and Ellon in the Northeast of Scotland and is part of the Ellon Schools Cluster group. Most of the pupils come from within the village, with the remaining children travelling by bus to school from country homes. Most families originate from the local area. Housing is mixed comprising private housing developments, local authority houses and country homes. Our current school roll at time of writing is 102 children from P1-P7.
